| Cruising Southern British Columbia
Today we will continue to cruise through ancient temperate rain forests and rocky coastline where black and brown bear bears forage. Seals and sea lions can be seen hauled out on rocks. This will seem more like cruising through the forest than on water. BLD |

| Cruising Northern British Columbia
Enjoy remote and quiet reaches of ancient, glacially carved fjords along this coastline. Cruise by old growth forests, quiet coves and nutrient-rich waters that support many mammals and seabirds in the Great Bear Rainforest. BLD |

Make an exclusive port call at Metlakatla on Annette Island, Alaska’s sole Tsimshian community. Enjoy a traditional dance in the tribal long house. BLD |

Receive a warm welcome at the Norwegian-heritage fishing village of Petersburg, inaccessible to large cruise ships. Explore the wilderness waterways around Petersburg - you may spot bald eagles in the treetops, Sitka black tail deer on the beaches, black bear scavenging a forest edge, or waterfowl along the intertidal zone. Glide through this impressive wonderland, closely approaching the “rivers of ice.” A National Park Service Ranger and a Native Cultural Interpreter offer insightful narration and help you spot wildlife such as whales, mountain goats and brown and black bears.
